Why Photos Matter More in Competitive Markets

PJ and Shah Alam have dense concentrations of condos, service apartments, and landed residential properties. Many of them are listed on Airbnb or short-term rental platforms at similar price points.

When two units are priced the same and located in the same neighbourhood, the one with better photos wins the booking. It is a straightforward advantage. I have seen it play out again and again across Kelana Jaya, Ara Damansara, and Setia Alam.

Types of Properties I Shoot

In PJ and Shah Alam, I handle a range of property types depending on what the client needs.

Airbnb and short-term rentals are usually condos and service apartments needing a full interior shoot for their listing. Homestay properties are often landed homes or individual rooms styled for hospitality. Real estate listings are vacant or tenanted units that need to look their best on property portals like PropertyGuru and iProperty.

Each type has a different goal. Airbnb shoots focus on warmth and lifestyle. Real estate shoots focus on accurate representation of space and condition.

What to Expect on Shoot Day

A standard shoot for a two or three-bedroom unit in PJ or Shah Alam takes roughly two to three hours on location.

I bring a wide-angle lens setup and portable lighting where needed. You do not need to be there for the full session, but I recommend being available for the first fifteen minutes. We will do a quick walk-through together so I can note any features you specifically want captured.

Photos are edited and delivered within 3 to 5 business days via a downloadable link.
